long long long time ago,
in a land (school,actually.) far far away,
there lived four lil rather 'not-so-gorgeous' ducklings ;)
who somehow clique-d and became close friends very fast,
without knowing what ties them together so strong,
because they do not really share anything in common,

one's a basketball fan,
the other an anime freak,
one more used to be a boy magnet,
and well the last one is a nerd with specs. LOL.

2002


girls being girls,
our share of gossips,
a few bitching sessions,
late night pillow talks,
shopping trips,
and dreams of the future.
yes indeed there were a few misunderstandings here and there,
but we all have more sweet memories than we could ever remember.

2005

and even though the anime freak left our lil penang island
to go off to aussie land late 2005,
but our friendship survived the distance.

2006


and now,
i present you,
the four princesses,
miss tan yuh ting, miss ng karmun, miss phang vewen and miss madeline khaw cheng looi.

with loads of love till the next time the four of us can just around the table,

So I guess I do owe all of you an apology,

For not updating frequent enough since December 08,

That’s mainly because I am always out most of the time,

I got my daily dose of my ting, tzouen and zihong.

Ting is like an un-skip-able daily dose which is vital for ensuring good health =)

And not forgetting the two crazy girls, mable and wenlin which I see nearly every day,

They are my much needed ‘siao cha bos’ to cheer me up and do bimbo things together.

And the non-stop bumping into may, wernie, anas, liang and chungkhye.

Meeting up with different people,

New and old friends alike,

Everyone came back to penang during the christmas and Chinese new year breaks!

Yippie!

I especially miss my old college and school mates,

My cgl-ians =)

And not to mention juggling between two jobs, blue reef and violin ;)

That certainly kept my hands full at that time.

Came February,

It was a month of tears =(

So many farewell parties and gatherings,

So many people going back to wherever they came from,

And sending off so many people to everywhere to embark on their next phase of life,

Goodbyes have never been so hard and real.

I went to the airport nearly every other day,

Sending off not one but multiple people each time I was at the airport,

Even on valentines day ;(

I spent the morning sending off Gregory to NZ and Abigail to Aussie,

Then dinner and birthday party at Elaine’s, off to Gleneagles to visit mr shaun jin who was sick and then off to upr,

Valentines was just another day for me, I started off valentines with clubbing and ended it clubbing. Lol. Im gonna take a break from the clubbing scene for a while.

After that I spent the whole night at a ‘crying party’ starting at 2 a.m., 15^th February,at choon chiet’s with ting, tzouen, javen and choon chiet.

We were all tearing for the al the times we had spent together,

Memories to be treasured forever J

And at 6a.m. I received unexpected phone call of mummy was admitted into the hospital,

Biggest scare of my life,

So many emotions running through me,

After settling mummy stuff at the hospital,

I went over to the airport to send off my ‘neighbour’, wernie , my hengtai, yuwei, and the bestie, ting.

Oh my, that was the hardest goodbyes were indeed said on the 15^th of February.

And now,

I lead a mundane life.

Most of my time is preoccupied by work,

And reading ;)

Books are the best company when everything else seems bleak,

A whole new world for me to explore and get lost in,

I haven’t been finding enough time to read as often as I could the past two years,

Now it’s a good time for me to catch up with my old love again :)

By the way,

People, you can all call me out anytime,

Im free and just rotting away ;)

so so so sorry for the lack of updates!

one step away from the big 2-0.

and so i turned 19.
had four different celebrations.
i had a rather quiet birthday this year comparatively to previous years.
but special thanks to miss cheah for organizing that surprise celebration by the beach.
and no thanks to mr tannie tan for attending all of the celebrations.

and the queen will be celebrating her final teenage year!

a year came and gone in a blink of an eye.
seriously. it felt as if it was yesterday when i celebrated my last birthday.
now im gonna be nineteen in a few hours time.
well i did loads of new things when i was 18.
since i was finally legal,

i entered college,
HELLO SAM, HELLO DISTED.

clubbed,

won a dance competition =.=' (i still cant believed that i actually won it because there was this
hot malay girl who was flashing her panties while she danced.)

made loads and loads of new friends,

broke my own heart,

partied,

surprisingly i managed to stayed out of every drama in college =)

shopped,

studied,

baked cheesecake and gingerbread man for the first time!

went to the library more often than i can ever remember.

went to 'midnight library' more often than i can remember too!

went for road trips,

laughed till i cried,

cried till i laughed,

became prom queen =D

gained myself a few new friends for life! =)

drove over the sea!

sat on a rollercoaster for the very first time! (omg my heart nearly jumped outta me)

became a waitress!

entered a cyber cafe for the first time! (netcity babeh! left4dead is GORY)

and then this year for once i shall be plan-less for my own birthday.

so yea it has been a hell of an amazing journey.
and i thank God for everything!

had violin again today.
then went off to atc kemayan with mr lee zi hong.

so should i do law?
should i take a levels and waste a year?
or should i just take the risk and enrol myself over at ptpl?

kemayan's fine but it doesnt have the 'college feel' to it.
its gonna be a drastic change from disted to kemayan.

shits im in a big dilemma now =(

after the visit to atc kemayan i had violin again,
then chilled with mr lee again for awhile before ting came over to get me
meet tzouen and to go over to kittyeng's before heading
to the airport to bid our final farewell to miss angelin teh.
haha, i didnt cry this time around =D

after the farewell, the four of us went over to bayan bay to have dinner.
sucky food though.
then we went off to ting's for a while.
it feels so weird to be wearing seatbelt on the rear sit.

i love my mum!
as soon as i reached home today, mum went 'like this i sayang you la, come home so early.' and the clock shows 12.45am. ahh. i love you mummy!

so today i woke up as blur as ever. fetch ting from coffee bean after some stuff then we hit the shack and slept for about 4 whole hours before my violin starts and an irritating bugger decided to drop by my shop to annoy the hell out of us =p but we sure did a good job in annoying him back today!

after violin, me and ting fetched the bugger home. then it was off to gurney for some girl time before i went off for dinner and movie with tannie while she went for dinner and movie with zihong. [sorry tannie for making you wait kays? my babe needed me at that time =)] Then tannie and i had sushi king while they had sakae sushi =.=

and then we all met each other in front of gsc and found out that the four of are not sitting together for the movie =(

BEDTIME STORIES was hilarious.

after movie, tannie and i went over to northam for chicken wings. ahh. heavenly.
